Sunset Beach
SUNSET BEACH - This spacious 4 bedroom/4 bath villa is located on the south side of the island and situated waterfront at Devers Bay where there is access to swimming and snorkeling as this lovely St. John villa glistens in the afternoon sun. The lush tropical landscaping surrounds you as you sunbathe, beach comb, swim and snorkel in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea or just lounge around the pool all day long. The villa has a southwest location to enjoy wonderful sunsets and the twinkling lights of St. Thomas. Caribbean breezes will lull you to sleep with the soft sound of the surf on the washed rocks of the beach. . This spacious design, consisting of 3 buildings, is built on 2-levels with the kitchen, living and dining areas, two bedrooms and the 6 person hot tub on the upper level, while the lap pool, wet bar, sundeck and two more bedrooms are on the lower level. A covered porch extends the entire length of the villa on the upper level,
and the pool and sundeck are on the lower level. A 12 x40 ft.(4 ft. deep) lap pool and large deck area look out to the sweeping water views. The prime focus is the water access just a few feet away. A pool side wet bar with icemaker and small refrigerator is located on this lower level, along with the washer/dryer.
The elegantly decorated living room is furnished with beautiful mahogany antique reproductions from the Virgin Islands Heritage Series of the Whim Museum in St. Croix. The furnishings are complimented by a white beamed cathedral ceiling, rose colored tiled floors and original artwork pieces. Screened sliding glass doors open to a deck overlooking the water. The entertainment armoire features tv/vcr, Bose Stereo System with CD and MP3 hookup.
The formal mahogany dining table set seats 8. There is also a casual dining on the upper deck. The large kitchen is complete with all appliances and amenities and looks over the living room and allows the cook to enjoy the view with everyone else.
Two upper level bedrooms are located in separate building off the kitchen of the Great House. The third bedroom is in the lower level of the Great House, off the pool deck, while the fourth bedroom is below the other two bedrooms. Both lower level bedrooms are accessed by an exterior staircase and walkway. All four bedrooms feature air conditioning and are of equal size and feature different styled decor. From all the bedrooms, you look out to the view and hear the sounds of surf breaking on the beach outside.
Bedroom 1 is upstairs and contains an antique reproduction 4 poster queen bed from the Whim Museum in St. Croix. Matching accessories complete this danish island decor.
Bedroom 2 (also upstairs) is a wrought iron Wedding Canopy queen bed with matching accessories. Both upper baths have tiled garden showers.
The third bedroom, with queen bed, is downstairs and is furnished with a white country decor and has a private tiled bath. The fourth bedroom is furnished in a similar style as the other 3 bedrooms. This bedroom has 2 twin beds (which can be converted to a king), along with its own private tiled bath. Sunset Beach was built in 1998 and is conveniently located to town, restaurants, beaches which are within 10-15 minutes drive away. This villa is ideal for couples and families.
Walk down to the ocean front and search for shells. Snorkel around the point and feel like you are in heaven.
Remember... All homes are fully equipped and
are cleaned and ready for you. You will be met on arrival and escorted to your
vacation home. An 8% Island tax and a security deposit is added to the above
rates.
